ABSTRACT

Objective:To study the clinical value of combined indocyanine green fluorescence labeling method in sentinel lymph node biopsy on patients with thyroid carcinoma. Methods:Patients of thyroid tumor in our hospital from January 2016 to August 2017 were selected as the research, object 99 cases of thyroid benign tumor patients were randomly selected as the control group,99 cases of thyroid carcinoma patients were randomly selected as the observation group.According to the random number table method, patients in the group were randomly divided into A,B and C three groups,33 cases in each group.Group A were used 1.25mg/mL indocyanine green as a fluorescent tracer, group B were used 2.5mg/mL indocyanine green as a fluorescent tracer, group C were used 5mg/mL indocyanine green as fluorescent tracer to tracer for sentinel lymph node biopsy. The detection rate of sentinel lymph node and the average number of sentinel lymph nodes of each group were compared, and the false negative rate, sensitivity and accuracy of each group were also compared. Results:The detection rate of anterior sentinel lymph node in the group B was higher nan that in the group A and group C (P<0.05).The average number of sentinel lymph nodes in the group B was significantly higher than that in the control group A and group C(P<0.05).The false negative rate and sensitivity of the group B were significantly better than those of the group A and group C(P<0.05).Conclusion:Indocyanine green fluorescent tracer method in sentinel lymph node biopsy has high detection rate of sentinel lymph node and detection range and high sensitivity advantage for patients with thyroid carcinoma, which has important clinical value for improving the operation methods,it is worth in clinical promotion.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVETo investigate the protective effects and mechanisms of Radix Astragali Injection on multiple organs of rats with obstructive jaundice (OJ).

METHODSA total of 180 rats were randomly divided into the sham-operated, model control and treated groups (60 in each group). On 7, 14, 21 and 28 days after operation, the serum contents of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), r-glutamyl transpeptidase (r-GT), total bilirubin (TBil), direct bilirubin (DBil), blood urine nitrogen (BUN), and creatinine (CREA) were determined. And the pathological changes of livers, kidneys and lungs, and protein expressions of toll-like receptor-4 (TLR-4) of livers, intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) of lungs, Bax and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB), as well as apoptotic indexes of multiple organs were observed, respectively.

RESULTSThe pathological severity scores of multiple organs (including livers on 7, 14, 21 and 28 days, kidneys on 14 and 28 days, and lungs on 14 days), serum contents of ALT (14 and 21 days), AST (14 days), TBil (7, 14, 21 and 28 days), DBil (14 and 21 days), BUN (28 days), protein expressions of TLR-4 (in livers, 28 days), Bax (in livers and kidneys, 21 days), and apoptotic indexes in livers (7 and 21 days) in the treated group were significantly lower than those in the model control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01).

CONCLUSIONRadix Astragali Injection exerts protective effects on multiple organs of OJ rats by improving the pathological changes of lung, liver and kidney, decreasing the serum index of hepatic and renal function as well as inhibiting the protein expression of TLR-4 and Bax in the livers and Bax in the kidneys.

ABSTRACT

Objective To detect the micrometastasis status and necessity of dissection of lymph nodes of hepatodudenal ligament in advanced gastric antral cancer. Methods Eighty-six lymph node samples of hepatodudenal ligament which were negative in routine pathological examinations were collected from 45 gastric antral cancer patients with radical dissection. The expressions of CK20 mRNA were detected for the existence of micrometastasis by RT-PCR. Results Micrometastasis was found in 46 out of 86 lymph nodes(53.49%) and 23 out of 45 patients(51.11%),significantly different from the routine pathological examinations(both P
